Michael has recently been appointed to lead the design of the future EMEIA Product Business for Fujitsu, whilst also becoming Chairman of Fujitsu in the UK & Ireland. Within this latter role, Michael acts as primary spokesperson for Fujitsu UK & Ireland with the media, regional analysts and trade bodies, and represent Fujitsu with the CBI, TechUK, Tech Partnership and Business in the Community.
Prior to this new appointment, Michael was CEO of Fujitsu’s £1.8 billion ICT business in the UK & Ireland; and before that he successfully led Fujitsu’s Technology Products Group in the UK & Ireland, significantly growing the profitability and market share of the company’s infrastructure, products and solutions business. Michael joined Fujitsu in 2006 as Business Unit Director for the UK Government Division, having previously held senior leadership roles at the Royal Mail Group/Post Office Ltd, Magex, MasterCard and Nat West.
On a personal level, Michael is married and has two teenage boys. In his spare time, Michael enjoys skiing, is a keen diver and plays electric guitar.
