Truett Tate
Chairman of Arora Holdings
Truett recently retired from the Board of Lloyds Banking Group having joined the Group in 2003 as Managing Director, Corporate Banking before being appointed to the Board in 2004. From 1972 to 1999, Truett worked for Citigroup where he held a number of senior and general management appointments in the USA, South America, Asia and Europe. He was President and Chief Executive Office of eCharge Corporation from 1999 to 2001 and co-founder and Vice Chairman of the Board of Chase Cost Management Inc from 1996 to 2003.
In his former role as Group Executive Director Wholesale and Vice Chairman, Client Coverage at Lloyds Banking Group, he led the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility agenda and was responsible globally for an array of businesses and customers from entrepreneurs to large multinationals.
Truett now serves on a variety of private company and charity Boards. He is Chairman of Arora Holdings and a Non Executive Director of Towergate Partnership Limited. Truett also acts as Chairman of the Employees Volunteering Leadership Board of BITC and has been appointed onto the Prince of Wales’ Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change.
