Nick Bunker
President, Kraft Foods UK/Ireland
After graduating, Nick joined Mars Confectionery in the UK and moved through various Sales roles including a period in Turkey. In 1989 he moved to United Biscuits in the International Division working with distributors around the world and subsequently transferred to Kraft with the acquisition of Terry’s in 1993. In 1995 Nick moved to the Middle East with Inchcape plc where he was responsible for managing a number of distribution and retail businesses throughout the region, finally as General Manager, Spinneys, Dubai.
Nick re-joined Kraft in 2000 as Managing Director of the Middle East business unit and moved its office from London to Dubai. He moved to Prague in 2004 with responsibility for the Czech and Slovak Republics and in 2007 Nick was appointed Vice President Customer Service and Logistics EU.
In April 2008 Nick was appointed Vice President & Managing Director UK & Ireland, relocating to the UK/Ireland head office in Cheltenham. Following the acquisition of Cadbury in February 2010 Nick was appointed President UK & Ireland for the combined company.
Since early 2011 Nick has chaired the Food & Drink Federation’s Sustainability Steering Group. He was formerly chairman of its Competitiveness Steering Group. Nick also sits on the Policy Issues Council of The Institute of Grocery Distribution.
