David Yiend
Chief Executive, AB Agri
David has spent his whole career in agriculture. Graduating from Seale Hayne in 1976, his career started with RHM Agriculture selling to farmers in Essex and Cambridgeshire. His career then progressed with Sinclair McGill and ICI Seeds.
Joining British Sugar plc in 1989 to run Trident Feeds with 35 people and a turnover of £70m he has led this to the business it is today, AB Agri, the Agricultural Division of AB Foods, employing 2000 people, selling in 43 countries, with a strong position in UK and Chinese agriculture and with a turnover of £1.5 billion.
David also chairs Frontier Agriculture Limited and the Agricultural Industries Confederation.
