What support is available?

Are you questioning whether your company is ready to apply for the CommunityMark? Are you currently going through the application process? Answers, advice and support are available.

Are you ready to apply?

To start, review the five CommunityMark principles. If your corporate community investment activity demonstrates strength across each of these principles, then you should consider applying for the CommunityMark.  Find out what excellence looks like across each of the five principles by reading the company case studies of the CommunityMark achievers.

Registration

Your next step is to register for the CommunityMark. To register, contact communitymark@bitc.org.uk or call 020 7566 6623.

Adviser

Once a company has registered for the CommunityMark they will be assigned a 1:1 adviser to help them through the application process. The adviser will be available throughout the application process to provide support and guidance, enabling companies to further understand how the CommunityMark framework fits their business.

Not quite ready?

If you have reviewed the five principles and don't think you're quite ready for a CommunityMark application, you should attend an Introduction to Community Investment course.  These sessions have been designed for companies who have less mature community investment programmes, to help them along the journey towards community investment excellence.

Please email communitymark@bitc.org.uk to find out the other ways that BITC can support your company.
