Allotment-Newport, Pillgwenlly- up to 20 volunteers
The allotment site is maintained by a youth club associated with the Communities First project in Pillgwenlly. They meet once a week to do some gardening and to learn about growing flowers, plants and vegetables. The project aims at engaging young people who are at risk of getting involved in criminal activity and gang culture. The site measures 20x5m.The group would like some support in clearing up and further developing their allotment.

Bryn Gwalia Primary School - Mold
Bryn Gwalia is a Community School which was opened in September 1967. It caters for Nursery/Infant and Junior children. It is a co-educational day school. Part time nursery education is offered in the Early Years Unit for five morning sessions every week for pupils who are four years of age before 31st August. The Reception is part of the Early Years Unit, first and second year Infant pupils are in two mixed ability classes. There are at present four Junior classes of mixed ability.

Clywedog Secondary School - Wrexham
Ysgol Clywedog was formed in 2001 merging the three town schools. The Groves High School,St Davids High School and Ysgol Bryn Offa and caters for 1200 pupils. The majority of Students are from Community First areas. The school wishes to develop an 'outside class room' as they wish to strengthen their science ciriculum with a forest school. This includes a herb garden, a garden area with planters, bug hotels and recycling areas.

Infant outdoor area- Caerphilly-10-15 volunteers
This primary school has 227 pupils between the ages of 3 and 11, and 33 pre-school pupils on its role. The school is not situated in a Communities First area, however, it serves the deprived communities of Aber Valley and Trecenydd.

Infant Play Area- Newport, Bettws, 20-25 volunteers
This primary school is situated in the Bettws Communities First area. The school has about 110 pupils on role and most of them come from the Bettws Estate. 29% of the pupils are on free-school meals.

Outdoor natural areas, Blackwood, Primary School, up to 40 volunteers
This primary School is situated near the centre of Blackwood. It is a stone-built Victorian building which has been extended and refurbished over the past few years. It has approximately 420 pupils (aged 3-11yrs,) including nursery school. About 25% of the pupils receive free school meals.

Outdoor play and learning areas-Caerphilly-10-20 volunteers
This primary school serves pupils aged 3-11yrs .There are about 244 pupils on the roll, including 37 nursery pupils who attend on a part-time basis. There are 10 classes including 2 nurture classes for children with social and emotional difficulties. About 13% of the pupils are from Community First areas and 20% are entitled to free school meals

Play area and green space, Housing Estate, Gilfach Goch, 30-35 volunteers
This Estate is situated in the small village of Gilfach Goch in the RCT area. Today, the former coal mining village is ranked within the top 5-6% deprived areas within RCT. Poor levels of education, skills and training are closely tied with economic activity levels. With regard to education, skills and training, Gilfach is ranked 65th most deprived in Wales and ranked 7th when compared to the other 152 communities listed on the Multiple Deprivation Index in RCT.

Playground area-Caerphilly-10-12 volunteers
This primary school is situated in a Communities First area in the Aber Valley and serves approximately 120 pupils aged 3-7years, including 34 part-time nursery children. About 75% of the pupils have disadvantaged social or economic backgrounds with approximately 40% entitled to receive frees school meals. This figure is above both the local education authority and all-Wales averages.

Sculpture garden-Caerphilly-10-15 volunteers
This secondary school has just over 1,000 pupils between the ages of 11 and 18 on its role. About 50% of pupils at the school come from Communities First areas, such as Lansbury Park. 23% of pupils receive free school meals.

St Ethelwold's Primary School, Deeside is a state school for boys and girls aged from 3 to 11.

St Winifreds Primary School - Holywell
St Winifred's Roman Catholic Primary School opened in 1936 is a co-educational school for 3-11 year old pupils including a part-time Nursery. The majority of Students are from Community First areas.

The Wrexham Foyer
The Wrexham Foyer provides comfortable and safe accommodation for single homeless people aged between 16 and 25. The project aims to provide the individual with housing related support and assistance in the development of life skills, including budgeting, cooking and employment opportunities, prior to moving on to independent living.

Victoria Infants Nursery School Chester
Victoria infant school is located in the City of Chester and provides learning for ages 3 - 11 years old. The school has many children who come from deprived backgrouds. Part of the school is being modernised however the Nursery is not and needs helpp to develop their outdoor area.
