The aim of this report is to articulate succinctly the business case for being a responsible business – a headline synthesis of the arguments being used and the most frequently stated business benefits.

 The course was developed with EABIS based on the publication 'Building the Business Case for being a Responsible Business' - a collaboration betweeen BITC and The Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility at Cranfield School of Management.  This course will help you to identify the business benefits from CR and put them into a meaningful framework.

Aimed at CR Practitioners, the course will identify trends in this area and also provide the identified reasons why businesses should engage in CR.

Who should attend?

This course is aimed primarily at anyone responsible for developing the business case for CR, or anyone who needs to know and communicate the business case. Managers will also get some benefit from this course to the extent that they have responsibility for building or articulating the business case for CR.

The course assume at least a basic knowledge of corporate responsibility. 

Senior Managers should be aware that we are currently preparing a training course to meet their needs based on the same content which will assume extensive knowledge of CR.
