The one day course will provide shortcuts through the plethora of corporate responsibility (CR) advice, and give you a chance to reflect on what is important for your company. The course covers the management and integration of CR, identifying the business case and getting internal buy in.

Business in the Community's environment workshops demonstrate practical examples and business benefits of taking environmental action. They also provide an opportunity for peer-to-peer networking on specific agendas. Part of the series is made up of the May Day workshops which support The Prince's May Day Network on working on their low carbon journey.

Building on that framework we will show you how to determine the most important and material issues for your business. We will also help you to begin the process of ensuring that appropriate structures are in place to govern CR risk and opportunities.

The CR Index is the UK’s leading voluntary benchmark of CR. Practitioners can use this as a tool to integrate responsibility throughout their company's operations by providing a systematic approach to managing, measuring and reporting on business impact in society and on the environment.
E-mail and telephone support will be available to all CR Index participants throughout the survey submission period. In addition to this we also run a series of CR Index workshops to prepare organisations for participation in the CR Index.

With economic pressures, responsible supply chain management can provide greater financial stability through the minimising of reputational, operational and legal risks and helping companies understand where to make costs savings, open new markets, and enhance your company’s reputation.

This workshop based process facilitates senior managers’, CEO's and Board members’ ability to understand and articulate the connections between the business strategy and the CR / Sustainability agenda. The workshop lasts 3 hours or a whole day with internal presentations. The process is a series of interactive exercises undertaken in sub-groups, which guide participants through issue identification, action planning, prioritisation and tasking phases.
