CR Foundations Programme

CR Foundations Programme

The CR Foundations Programme will help you develop your skills and knowledge around key areas of Corporate Responsibility and integration in organisations.  A key feature of the programme is that you can bring an appropriate colleague to each session to help you achieve organisational buy-in.  The programme will consist of six bi-monthly courses, where you will learn from experts and network with other practitioners.

Our Next CR Foundations Programme begins on 15 May 2012. The programme includes six core BITC courses:

Stakeholder engagement
Driving Change for CR
Employee Engagement 
CR Risk and Materiality
Introduction to Community Investment
Environment Workshops

In addition, it includes a recap of Introduction to Corporate Responsibility, a brief guide to the CR Practitioner Competency Map and tips and tricks for formulating/tweaking a CR strategy.

Peer Learning Programme

1. Embedding corporate responsibility Peer Learning Programme

The BITC Peer Learning Programme facilitates the sharing of best practice and experiences between CR practitioners on reporting and integrating corporate responsibility.

Workwell Peer Learning 22. Workwell Peer Learning Programme

The 2nd Workwell Peer Learning programme will be commencing in October 2011 with an exciting programme of events, by business for business.

This programme has been designed to give HR and OH professionals’ practical tools that will help boost the wellness and engagement of your employees.

Community icon3. Community Investment Peer Learning Programme

The Peer Learning Programme facilitates the sharing of best practice and experiences between practitioners around development and strategic integration of community investment programmes and partnerships.

The programme is delivered through a series of workshops where members network with other practitioners in practical and challenging discussions. The topics will be selected by the group and sessions will be aligned to the CommunityMark five principled framework.

Developing future leaders

Developing future leaders

Leading on Sustainability has been developed to support future senior managers in promoting change towards a sustainable future at work and in their communities.

The programme aims to deepen awareness of what these challenges will mean, and enhance personal and shared leadership skills to effectively embrace change.  By inspiring creativity and innovation through sharing best practice, academic insight and personal experience, it will guide participants to develop strategies to balance competing priorities, leading to effective action that achieves real results.
