Anita Longley

Director of Corporate Responsibility at RWE npower

Anita joined RWE npower in 2002 and was instrumental in establishing the CR Department and developing the company’s CR strategy.   

Central to Anita’s role is a mandate to bring together different parts of the business, integrating responsible business practice across all levels of the company, working with external stakeholders and provide strategic advice on social and environmental issues.  She is also responsible for RWE npower’s community investment. 

In 2008 RWE npower contributed more than £6.6 million to the community, was awarded the Business in the Community ‘CommunityMark’ and became a Platinum Company in 2009.  Anita is a Fellow of the RSA and a Board Director of the Corporate Responsibility Group and the SIFE organisation
