Ian Gearing

Head of Corporate Responsibility at National Grid 

Ian’s career with National Grid has included electrical engineering, project management, corporate strategy, business planning and, for the past six years, corporate responsibility. Ian is responsible for producing the corporate responsibility content of the Company’s Annual Report and Accounts and website as well as engaging with socially responsibly investors and other stakeholders on the Company’s non-financial performance.

Ian coordinates the Company’s greenhouse gas reporting and has been responsible for developing National Grid’s greenhouse gas inventory, its emissions management plan and internal carbon budgets.

Ian has been a guest speaker at our One Day Introduction to Corporate Responsibility workshop.
