Jennie Galbraith

International Sustainability Manager at British American Tobacco

Jennie is primarily responsible for the Group’s global sustainability reporting strategy, including their international stakeholder dialogue programme and also leads on the development and embedding of the Group’s Sustainability Agenda.

She co-ordinates their inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and other external benchmarking activities and works with the HR, Marketing and Supply Chain functions to ensure that British American Tobacco’s sustainability activities bring value to both the business and to stakeholders

Jennie has a wide range of experience in CR and has specific expertise around reporting strategy, assurance, stakeholder dialogue, the development of indicators and in managing CSR in a global business (BAT has sites in over 100 countries).

Prior to joining BAT Jennie was Corporate Responsibility Manager at the Co-operative Group and she previously worked in CSR at the Co-operative Insurance Society.

Jennie holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Environmental Resources from the University of Salford.
