Mike Peirce

Mike Peirce is Deputy Director at the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, where he is responsible for strategy and communications. He leads a number of CPSL's executive education programmes, including the World Bank Sustainable Development Leadership Programme for senior Bank staff, and a new leadership programme for the built environment sector with the UK Green Building Council. He is involved in a number of other sustainability initiatives, including as a member of the Advisory Group of the Prince of Wales’s Accounting for Sustainability Project (A4S), and as a Trustee of the development education charity, DEA.

Mike has over a decade’s experience in sustainable development research, consultancy and education, with five years prior in strategic consultancy and commercial due diligence at a top-tier firm. He spent five years with the NGO, AccountAbility, at first managing the development of its corporate accountability framework, AA1000, and later as Chief Operating Officer.
