E.ON’s growth in recent years has enabled the company to successfully seize new opportunities in Europe’s energy markets and to meet future challenges, in particular in the areas of supply security, affordability and above all climate protection.
With its broad geographic footprint and strong market position, E.ON carries a special Corporate Social Responsibility and based on their value-oriented strategy, the company aspires to an energy mix that promotes climate protection and that assures the provision of a safe energy supply from different energy sources with an optimal risk profile.
How the challenges were overcome
The flexibility and general intuitiveness of the BITC Competency Map allowed E.ON to genuinely integrate the tool with their current mechanisms.
With the help of the step by step guide that accompanies the map, E.ON was able to better understand the tool's outputs and processes, and based on the comprehensive list of potential skills, activities and behaviours, the company was allowed different layers of analysis and usage.
