East of England ProHelp

ProHelp connects local charities and community groups with local professional businesses, so that the community benefits from both the knowledge and expertise of businesses; and the time, passion and commitment of local people.

East of England ProHelp for businesses East of England ProHelp for communities

ProHelp is a national network of professional companies committed to making a difference in their local community by providing free advice and support to the voluntary sector. It is the UK’s only multi-sector professional company network and provides members with the opportunity to meet with, and work alongside, other professionals as well as their peers, and provides a valuable ‘one-stop’ resource to community organisations seeking professional support.

Business in the Community has four ProHelp Groups in the East of England - Cambridge, Peterborough, Suffolk and Norfolk. Together they are made up of over 110 members covering a range of professional disciplines including building surveyors, architects, structural engineers, lawyers, accountants, business and HR consultants, Health & Safety advisors as well as marketing, PR and IT experts.

In the last 12 months ProHelp has undertaken one-off projects and contributed to advice surgeries and workshops aimed at helping the voluntary sector - giving over 3,900 hours of free time valued at almost £600,000 worth of support.
