Through SEA, twelve social entrepreneurs were able to access one-to-one support from dedicated volunteer business mentors and bespoke training workshops provided by Great Yarmouth College. By supporting the development of new social enterprises, the project has helped to create jobs, develop skills and bring a boost to the local economy in Great Yarmouth.
The achievements of the social entrepreneurs were showcased at our Future of Social Business event on the 17th September 2015. We are now are calling on local residents, organisations and commissioners to work with the social enterprises and help them in sustaining their operation by exploring partnership opportunities.
