The East Midlands is the fourth largest region.  It has a population of 4.3 million and covers 15,607 square kilometres.  There are six counties; Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.  The main population centres are the cities of Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Nottingham and Northampton.

  • Business Leaders in the East Midlands Attend Business Summit

     Members of the East Midlands Business in the Community Advisory Board recently attended  a business summit headed by HRH the Prince of Wales, who is President of BITC.  Business in the Community (BITC) convened a gathering of the 160 senior business leaders who make up the BITC national and regional Leadership Teams and who help to shape and drive the charity’s campaigns and strategies. The aim was to set out the vision of the leadership challenge for business in creating a sustainable future.
