Walk

We are about 15 minutes walk from the train station:

• Turn right out of the main station entrance (ensure you head for the main entrance, not the side (Station Street) which takes you to the trams. If you do take the Station Street exit, turn left and walk to the top of the street, where it meets Carrington Street.)
• Cross Station Street (at zebra crossing) and walk up Carrington Street.
  
• Cross Canal Street at the pedestrian lights and continue up Carrington Street (Broadmarsh bus station on your right) towards the Broadmarsh Centre.
• Cross Collin Street at the pedestrian lights and enter the Broadmarsh Centre.
• Walk straight through the Centre (Argos on the left,) and out onto Listergate (HMV on left).
• Walk straight up Listergate (small M&S on left) Continue straight on at junction (pass a large M&S on right).
• At next junction turn left onto Hounds Gate (Clark’s shoe shop on corner). We are about half way along on the right-hand side – in the same premises as Grant Thornton. 
• The building has steps up to the entrances – walk to the end of the building taking the 3rd entrance.  Take the lift to the 3rd floor (you’ll see the BITC logo on the sign by the lift).
  
  

Tram

Nottingham has an excellent tram system and you can pick any tram up from the railway station and get off at Market Square. From Market Square it takes 5 minutes to the office.  The Tram is quicker than the Bus.

As you get off the tram you will see the Royal Bank of Scotland and Starbucks.  Turn left at Starbucks and take the crossing to Lakeland then walk down towards the Clarks Shoe shop turn right and you are in Hounds Gate. As you walk up Hounds Gate you will pass Subway Food Outlet on your right.  Business in the Community is in the Grant Thornton Building three quarters of the way up Hounds Gate.

By Plane

East Midlands Airport is approximately 14 miles from Nottingham.

By Road

From M1 North:
M1 from the North: Exit at junction 26.  Follow A610 into Nottingham City Centre – you will then need to park in one of the NCP car parks as the Nottingham Office has no parking facilities.

From M1 South:
If driving from the M1, take junction 25 and follow the A52 towards Nottingham City centre.  Take the A6200 Derby Road into Nottingham.  Follow the one way system into the city centre – you will need to park in one of the NCP car parks as the Nottingham Office has no parking facilities.
