ProHelp in the East Midlands

ProHelp is a national network of over 600 professional firms who make a difference in the community by offering free advice and support to local community groups and voluntary organisations. ProHelp is delivered through approximately 30 local groups across the country with member firms, both large and small, undertaking one-off projects as well as contributing to advice surgeries and workshops.

  • Derbyshire ProHelp

    Derbyshire ProHelp is currently chaired by Lisa Richards, Partner at accountancy firm Smith Cooper. The group consists of 23 members. Last year member firms provided £61,350 worth of professional support to voluntary organisations in need within the local community.

  • Leicestershire and Rutland ProHelp

    Leicestershire ProHelp has 23 local firms in membership who delivered over £108,000 worth of pro bono support in the past year. This ProHelp is run by Leicestershire Cares and is chaired by Sylvester Cheung (Parkinson Dodson & Cheung) with vice-chair Tom Hart (rg+p Ltd).

  • Lincolnshire ProHelp

    Lincolnshire ProHelp was set up in 2002 to provide professional and strategic support, free of charge, to voluntary groups in this largely rural area. Last year members provided over £60,000 of free support to community organisations in need.

  • Northamptonshire ProHelp

    Northamptonshire ProHelp, established in 1999, is chaired by Steve Robinson, Partner at Grant Thornton and comprises 19 member firms. Member firms offer a proportion of their professional time free of charge to local voluntary and community groups.

  • Nottinghamshire ProHelp

    Nottinghamshire ProHelp is currently chaired by Richard Medd of Browne Jacobson. During the last twelve months the group has collectively provided over £71,000 worth of free professional support to community and voluntary organisations in the local area.
