The Environment Index

As of September 2008, larger companies will no longer be able to complete the Environment Index as a stand-alone module unless they have a presence in the Yorkshire & Humber region.*  In order to challenge companies across the broader responsible business agenda, Business in the Community is now offering larger companies the opportunity to benchmark their environment performance through its broader CR Index.

The Environment Index as a ‘private benchmark’ is a popular option for businesses who are interested in using a framework of best practice to shape their approach to environmental issues as well as to benchmark against peers. Performance remains confidential and results will not be disclosed publically in the Financial Times.

The Environment Index survey can be completed at any time and your results (including a bespoke feedback report) will be available within one month. The cost to receive this service is £1,500 for Business in the Community members and £1,800 for non-members (all costs exclude VAT).
