The Environment Index

In order to challenge companies across the broader responsible business agenda, Business in the Community offers larger companies the opportunity to benchmark their environment performance through its Corporate Responsibility Index.

If your business has a presence, no matter how small, in Yorkshire and Humber, it is able to complete the Environment Index as a stand-alone module. Please visit the Y&H Environment Index page for more details.

Private Benchmarking

The Environment Index as a ‘private benchmark’ is a popular option for businesses who are interested in using a framework of best practice to shape their approach to environmental issues as well as to benchmark against peers. Performance remains confidential and results will not be disclosed publically.

The Environment Index survey can be completed at any time and your results (including a bespoke feedback report and Board-level presentation) will be available within one month. The cost to receive this service is £2,250 for Business in the Community members (exc VAT).
