What is the Network?

The Prince's Mayday Network is the UK’s largest group of businesses committed to taking action on climate change.  Over 1,700 businesses of all sizes and from all sectors have signed-up to date, and collectively they promise to play a powerful role reducing the UK's carbon emissions.

The Prince's Mayday Network is convened by Business in the Community, and helps businesses realise benefits from taking action on climate change.  It helps them through practical support, and by profiling their low carbon activities.  It is sponsored by businesses that are taking a lead on climate change, and partners with key business support organisations.

2.  To profile your climate change stories

We can help profile your climate change activities through:

Mayday case studies published on our website, in our bi-monthly Mayday newsletter, in our series of Mayday workshops, and, for leading businesses, at the annual Prince's Mayday Summit.

Use of Prince's Mayday Network logo - Those businesses that reported-back against Mayday pledge 1, to measure and report their carbon emissions to Business in the Community, have been issued with the Prince's Mayday Network 2009 logo.  The logo communicates that a business has taken the preliminary step on a journey which can lead it on to reducing carbon emissions.  The next step will be for businesses to manage and reduce their carbon emissions.  Business in the Community recommends that those businesses making genuine reductions in carbon emissions apply for the Carbon Trust Standard.

The 2009 Mayday report-back closed on the 30 March 2009 and all businesses that are eligible to use the logo have been issued with it.
