The International Campaign at BITC calls business to action to address the key social, environmental and economic challenges facing global society, as encapsulated in a number of international frameworks like the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the UN Global Compact and others.

What we're working on...

  • Recognition of Business Impact

The Coffey International Award recognises company programmes that can demonstrate positive impact against one or more of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. Entries open in December 2012.

  • Advice and Support

Starting or re-designing an international programme can be challenging for the international practitioner based at head office. We can provide a package to support and offer assistance at HQ level as well as local support for local offices.

  • United Nations Millennium Development Goals

BITC believes that business has a crucial role to play in addressing and achieving the MDGs. Be at the forefront of this urgent agenda by collaborating and sharing with other leading international companies at one of our MDG events and learn from positive stories by visiting the online case study resource.

  • International Employee Volunteering

BITC Co-ordinates a highly successful network of employee community engagement projects in 26 Key Cities across the world. Run by expert partners locally, this could aid your company to increase your level of employee engagement quickly and effectively. Also visit our ENGAGE Toolkit which is designed to help International Practitioners to enhance or to develop employee community engagement projects internationally.
