We feel BITC uniquely offers:
- Experience: our depth and breadth of experience comes from working with businesses on CR issues for over 25 years.
- Knowledge base: we developed expertise in a wide range of sustainability areas and a bank of company case studies accumulated from the CR Index, Platinum Plus and the Awards for Excellence.

This enables us to take a unique role as a critical friend to really understand the risks and challenges that companies face today and recommend practical solutions to sustainability dilemmas.
Our Assignments

STRATEGY
We supported Danone UK in developing their CR Strategy and Communications plan. We conducted benchmarking research to identify key attributes and good practices to inform the recommendations for improvement in all areas of responsible business.
EMBEDDING
Our work with Alliance Boots focused on improving their sustainable supply chain management and audit practices. This included benchmarking research, gap analysis and also looking at how sustainability thinking can be applied to branding and marketing strategies.
ENGAGEMENT
We collaborated with BT to develop the Better Business Choices Game. A board game and a workshop session facilitated by BITC using a simulation exercise to introduce the concept that business strategy must account for future change in the social and natural environment.
