BT Sustainability Director joins Business in the Community
Business in the Community is strengthening its sustainability expertise through the secondment of Sharanne Basham-Pyke, Sustainability Enablement Director at BT.
Sharanne will be developing strategic programmes during her secondment, including growing the May Day Network, the largest group of businesses committed to tackling climate change in the UK.
More than 1000 businesses in the UK, almost 200 in Wales, of all sizes and from all sectors have signed up to date and collectively commit to playing a powerful role to reduce the UK’s carbon emissions.

“Sharanne's experience and knowledge of sustainability will help to drive this agenda forward and we know that Sharanne will return to BT with updated knowledge of the business, public and third sectors in Wales and will be able to share her learning with her BT colleagues."

Leveraging the expertise of our membership in this critical area is vital and Sharanne’s secondment will help strengthen our impact across Wales.
