Burnley businesses give their time for big gains in the community
Employees from five Burnley companies are ditched their day jobs to get out into their local community and help change the lives of 60 students from the across the town on Friday 9 July.

They are taking part in Give & Gain Day, the UK’s largest and only day of action for employee volunteers, organised by Business in the Community and sponsored by Eversheds LLP.
In Burnley employee volunteers from Aircelle, Lend Lease, BBC, UCLan and Class of your Own are taking part in day of Science and Technology activities hosted by the University of Central Lancashire at their Burnley Campus. Students from Marsden Heights, Hameldon, Shuttleworth, Sir John Thursby and Blessed Trinity will benefit from workshops as diverse as designing their own school to an in depth insight to Pythagoras!
