Veolia Environmental Services publishes Biodiversity review
With a diverse range of plants and wildlife on their doorstep, Veolia has published a Biodiversity Review which showcases how they nurture biodiversity throughout the business.

A vital part of this includesenhancing biodiversity which can often be found right on our doorsteps and in some unusual locations. Here are some examples of how we encourage biodiversity across our business.
In June 2011 the team at Veolia's Pitsea landfill site hosted BBC2’s Springwatch where presenter, Liz Bonnin revealed that this unusual location is bursting with an array of wildlife.
In February 2011 the landfill sites at Pitsea, Essex and Croft Farm, Doncaster were awarded the Wildlife Trusts Biodiversity Benchmark.
Veolia's on-going sponsorship of the Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition continues to reinforce a commitment to protecting and enhancing the environment, conserving natural resources and educating and inspiring people.
Veolia holds an annual staff photography competition, which celebrates the natural environment we live in - the high standard of entries shows how the very best of nature is often on our doorsteps!
