3i is a world leader in private equity and venture capital. It focuses on buyouts, growth capital, venture capital, infrastructure and quoted private equity and invests across Europe, Asia and the United States.

As a financial services business employing approximately 750 employees world-wide, 3i's direct environmental impact is relatively low. Energy and resource usage is measured where practicable and targets are set to achieve improvement. At 26.6% reduction in carbon emissions attributable to office accommodation was achieved over the two year period to 31 March 2007.

3i's charitable policy focuses on the disadvantaged, young people and education in the communities in which it has offices and charities relevant to our corporate activity.  Charities are supported on the basis of their effectiveness and impact.
