ACAS is a publicly funded body run by a council made up of leading figures from business, unions and independent sectors through to academics.
Established 30 years ago, it provides business managers with up-to-date information, independent advice and high-quality training, and works with employers and employees to solve problems and improve performance.
ACAS is keen to work collaboratively to address the employability agenda. After attending HRH The Prince’s Seeing is Believing Programme at Forest Bank Prison, it has been working with the probation service in the North West to organise work placements for ex-offenders.
ACAS also works hard to promote energy efficiency and waste minimisation in its offices.
