In addition to grant-based activities, two global programmes have been developed to recognise the volunteer efforts of Alcoa employees through special Alcoa grants. ACTION (Alcoans Coming Together In Our Neighbourhoods) encourages Alcoans to work as a team to help a local nonprofit organisations, while Bravo! recognises individual employee volunteer efforts. Alcoa employees everywhere are participating in these programmes to benefit the nonprofit organisations in their communities.
