Altnagelvin Hospitals H&SS Trust

The Altnagelvin Hospitals Health & Social Services Trust is one of Northern Ireland's 19 HPSS Hospital Trusts. The Trust is one of the largest employers in the North West, with a staff of approximately 2,200 over the County of Derry.

The Trust is an Opportunity Now member and signed up in 2005 to the Voluntary Code of Practice on Employing Migrant Workers/ Overseas Staff in Northern Ireland which provides equality of opportunity in the workplace for migrant workers. The Altnagelvin Hospitals Trust has also got involved in the Partners in Leadership programme and a range of business and non-profit mentoring programmes.

As a participant of the ARENA Network scheme, the Hospital participates in the ARENA Network Environmental Management Survey.
