More and more employers now look for challenges with added value that help develop people while leaving lasting impacts on the community.
Big
hearted employees from the award winning company armed themselves with brushes
and paints to paint a special mural on one of the portakabins at the site. As well as this, other parts of the premises
were painted and a concreted area was prepared as a car parking site.
Anne McGlone, Manager at the resource centre, said; “Willowbank are absolutely delighted that local company Geda agreed to rejuvenate the outside of the building and we were amazed that the company was prepared to be so generous with their time and resources.”
Business in the Community helps companies act
responsibly through employee volunteering, including team and individual
opportunities, enabling people to expand their skills in a totally new
environment.
