The prestigious black tie event, held on the 30th June at the newly opened Great North Museum, four North East companies received the prestigious BITC Big Tick, one company received a reaccreditation and five further companies received regional accolades.

Give and Gain Day 9 July 2010

Give and Gain Day 2010 was a great success in the North East, 155 employee volunteers from some of the North East’s best known businesses came together Friday 9th July to help create attractive new green spaces in Newcastle and Middlesbrough. Cares partnerships in the North East helps businesses to support their employees become involved in volunteering and aims to make employee volunteering easier and more effective for both the volunteers and the community. Cares partnerships build strong links in the local community and ensure that activity is focused on the issues that matter in that area.
