Richard Hutton
Finance Director of Greggs plc
Richard is Finance Director of Greggs plc. He trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and then worked for Procter and Gamble Ltd before joining Greggs in 1998. He has responsibility for the company’s finance, property and IT functions and is a trustee of the Greggs Charitable Trust, which aims to help alleviate poverty and social deprivation in the areas where Greggs is represented.
Greggs has a strong commitment to all aspects of social responsibility and Richard champions “Community” on the company’s CSR steering committee. He led the expansion of the award-winning Greggs Breakfast Club scheme and is a firm believer in the mutual benefit of engaging businesses with the communities in which they operate.
Richard is married with two children who work tirelessly to prevent him from taking himself too seriously. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and skiing and loves to spend time on the Northumberland coast.
