The Prince's Seeing is Believing Programme in the North East

The Prince's Regional Seeing is Believing Programme gives senior business people an insight into the issues facing some of the most disadvantaged communities and encourages them to consider how business can respond.

The programme is focused on geographic areas where there are high levels of deprivation and yet significant opportunities. The visits explore ways in which business action can help raise achievement, increase employability, overcome barriers and support regeneration.

Each visit lasts half a day and involves meeting people in some of the most challenging circumstances, as well as inspirational individuals who are making a difference. Following the visit, participants will be given the opportunity and support to take action, and to join an active network of business people who find that getting involved is good for business as well as for the communities they help.The Regional Programme is open to representatives of any level of management across the 12 regions in which BITC operates.
