North West Awards 2011: Regional Winners
The North West Regional Awards have been created to identify and celebrate businesses that are leading responsible business practice by example and having a positive impact on key issues in the region.
The PricewaterhouseCoopers Business Class Award
BITC’s unique Business Class programme facilitates long-term, needs-driven partnerships between business and secondary schools in some of the most deprived areas. The programme is now operating in 40 secondary schools here in the North West. This Award recognises the business that has created the greatest impact in its partner school.

The Prince's Ambassador Award
This award goes to an individual whose leadership and commitment to responsible business has resulted in changes and improvements inside their own company and who have also inspired other organisations to take action. The Prince’s Regional Ambassadors are asked to retain their tenure for two years to enable them to establish greater links and create a lasting impact through their role.
