Give & Gain Day in the North West
Give and Gain Day took place on Friday 9 July 2010 and was the UK’s largest and only national day of action for employee volunteers, organised by Business in the Community and sponsored by Eversheds LLP.
In the North West, over 370 employees from around 30 businesses volunteered their time to get out into their local community. Over 20 community projects across the region mobilised their volunteer task force to work on a wide range of activities from creating allotment gardens in schools, teaching pupils about healthy eating and science & technology workshops.
