Ciaran Sheehan
Managing Director, Care Circle Group & Managing Partner, Clarendon Executive
Ciaran Sheehan is the founder and Managing Director of Care Circle Group, a highly respected and rapidly expanding Private Nursing Home and Domiciliary Care Group that currently employs almost 400 people. The company has been formally recognised for its people practices and focus on its community and social responsibilities.
Ciaran is also Managing Partner of Clarendon Executive, Northern Ireland’s leading executive search and selection company. Clarendon Executive specialises in Board appointments, both executive and non-executive and senior management appointments across the private, public and voluntary sectors.
He was also Chairman of The Colin Neighbourhood Partnership which is challenged with the regeneration and revitalisation of the Colin Neighbourhood, a disadvantaged area with a population in excess of 30,000 people located on the periphery of West Belfast and Lisburn City. Among other things, he established an innovative social enterprise business in the area – Colin Care – which currently employs 40 people, the majority of which were previously unemployed and remains involved in establishing social enterprise companies in the Colin area.
Ciaran is also on the Board of Business in the Community in Northern Ireland and was HRH The Prince of Wale’s Ambassador on Corporate Responsibility for Northern Ireland in 2006/07. He was also Chairman of The Welcome Organisation, a charity that supports homelessness across the city of Belfast.
