Benchmarking entries up on 2009

With transport a key benchmarking area, sponsors Roy Adair, Chief Executive, Belfast Harbour and John McMillen, Chief Executive, Northern Ireland Environment Agency took a look at the road, rail, sea and air routes in Belfast from a vantage point on the balcony of the new Obel building with Peter Dixon, Chair and Eamonn Keaveney, Director, ARENA Network to launch the 12th Annual NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey. Companies can complete their entries online now at www.arenani.org.uk. Closing date for submissions is Friday 25 June 2010.

Submissions for this year’s Environmental Benchmarking Survey are now in. The number of entries is up on last year, with 141 companies benchmarked.

Early indications show that organisations are taking their environmental responsibilities very seriously and actively managing and measuring activity, with good results.

Full results will be announced at the report launch event at Belfast Harbour Commissioners on Tuesday 19 October. For more information, click here
