This
exciting, interactive volunteering initiative aims to foster an enjoyment of
reading and build the confidence and social skills of children at Key Stage 2.

There is a
distinct knowledge gap between what young people know and what the world of
work requires them to know. The
traditional school work experience requirement of 3-5 days doesn’t suit
everyone and for those that cannot offer this, we can develop one day insights
or outreach events that will inspire young people about companies or sectors. The
administrative burden of work experience for employers is also reduced, making
them more likely to offer meaningful placements.
