The Prince's Countryside Fund

National Countryside Week 2015: The Shop at Stroud Green

The Prince’s Countryside Fund was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in July 2010.  We give grants to projects that help support the people who care for the countryside and are supported by a unique collaboration of businesses working together to secure a sustainable future for British agriculture and the wider rural economy. Supporting companies display the Fund’s logo on their products and marketing materials and support the Fund in a range of other ways.
So far we have donated £5 million in grants, supported over 120 projects across the UK and helped more than 100,000 people.  We support projects that help rural communities to thrive through advice for new and existing businesses, training and apprenticeships for young people, support for farming businesses on low incomes to help them become more economically viable and initiatives that help connect people with the countryside so that they value the people and businesses there.
