Example of Excellence
Ray AndersonFounder and Chairman, Interface Inc...there is no more strategic issue for a company, or any organisation, than its ultimate purpose. For those who think business exists to make a profit, I suggest they think again. Business makes a profit to exist. Surely it must exist for some higher, nobler purpose than that."
InterfaceFLOR is a commercial flooring manufacturer. Tackling climate change through Mission Zero they aim to eliminate impact on the environment by 2020 through the redesign of processes and products, the use of new technologies, elimination of waste and harmful emissions while increasing the use of renewable materials and energy sources. So far results include a 34% reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions and energy use per carpet tile produced reduced by 44%.
