Regional award, Highly Commended

Mills & Reeve employees chose Age Concern Norwich as their 2008 charity project and set a target of raising £3,500.  In the end over £5,000 was raised through a variety of events including a pumpkin and squash growing competition, “School” sports day, cake trolley sale and carol service with a staff choir of 14!  20 volunteers also organised a day trip to the seaside for 40 of the Day Centre clients with a fish and chip lunch.
