Ciaran SheehanManaging Director, Care Circle Group

Care Circle Group operates high quality care establishments across Northern Ireland with a core value of Care for Life.

Within Care Circle Group, the 355 staff are developed, respected, supported, empowered and encouraged. With the business set to grow, the company is completely committed to the welfare of its people and the creation of significant numbers of new jobs in the years ahead.

What Care Circle Group did

Care Circle Group has undertaken a wide range of activities in economic regeneration, community development, youth mentoring, business mentoring and the establishment of social enterprises.

Internally, the company has invested heavily in staff training and development through its ‘Best in class’ process. It has developed a culture where colleagues respect each other and commit to support those in training. Staff are freely able to approach management formally and informally and managers spend concentrated one-to-one time with employees, viewing this as a daily part of their routine.

The company has engaged in a Combat Cancer drive and undertaken a breast cancer screening initiative, resulting in early detection for some. It employs a healthy eating philosophy along with training staff to carry out basic health checks such as blood pressure, etc.

All employees participate in diversity training and work with those who do not have English as their first language to gain assistance and training.
