Not only is Annie a great source of ideas, but is a real “doer” who gets on and checks out the feasibility of activities, works out a plan, and then puts it into action whilst motivating the teams.
In 2008 Mills & Reeve’s chosen charity was Age Concern which involved numerous activities including a Pumpkin & Squash Growing competition in the office. Annie was instrumental in arranged the selling of seeds and seedlings, the circulation of the competition terms and growing tips, then organised an evening event with prizes, certificates and judging.
In addition, she organised a volunteering day of gardening and participated in a decorating weekend at the Age Concern Day Centre, as well as helping out with a fund raising “School” Sports Day for employees.
Annie has also been involved in the office School Reading for a number of years, most recently at Mile Cross Primary School which is located in a regeneration area of Norwich . She is one of 15 staff members who each week read for an hour with 3 children over lunchtime.
