An enthusiastic, passionate and tenacious individual, Wendy leads and motivates an award winning team that have been recognised for achieving best practice.
Based in the deprived neighbourhood of Wythenshawe, the Airport relies on strong community relations to ensure its long term sustainability. Wendy has been integral in establishing communication with the local community and developing strong programmes and links with local schools and community groups.
Wendy chairs the BW3, Business Working with Wythenshawe group, and supports the Knutsford Support Group. Alongside developing and delivering education and community engagement programmes Wendy drives the Airport’s Customer Relations activity through the Airport and it’s partners. She inspires support from employees at all levels and from all areas of the business. To further ensure engagement by service partners on the Airport site, she established the Airport Community Network bringing together 24 member companies and an additional 30 ad hoc supporters.
