“UES have provided their expertise to develop, in collaboration with our university, potential Green IT solutions.  The UES team have invested their time to introduce people in disadvantaged communities and students to the world of work, thereby increasing their long-term employment prospects.”

Dr. Brendan D'CruzHead of Department, Newport Business School

UES is an independent utility and environmental consultancy. They save businesses money and improve their environmental performance in the areas of energy, water, waste, telecoms and IT.  Based in Caerphilly, UES have 25 employees and over 100 valued clients in a variety of sectors.

To ensure a consistent approach to the way they do business, UES introduced ‘The UES Way’, and their CSR strategy includes their mission and core values.  These documents define the way they behave and integrate corporate responsibility into the day-to-day operations of their company at all levels. Social and environmental responsibility is therefore part of their strategy and enrooted in how they seek to address their business objectives.

“UES has been invaluable for us to manage our estate of electricity, gas and water accounts more effectively. Not only has UES realised substantial benefits from bill corrections, the understanding of our carbon footprint is now more accurate than ever.”
