- Sustainable waste management approach has reduced the amount of excavated material to landfill by over 90 per cent, and eliminated sludge to landfill, against a Government target of 50 per cent
- 79% of graduates recently joining the company cited approach to the environment as a key reason for applying
- 13% of the business’ total energy needs are now provided by the renewable energy we generate ourself, with a value of £4.5million
- Environmental education programme delivers classes to over 10,000 students each year, helping support schools in their achievement of eco-school status and UU’s aims on water efficiency.
