Women make up half the workforce in Northern Ireland and more than 50% of all graduates are female. Fully utilising the skills and abilities of women in the workplace is essential if businesses are to thrive in today's competitive market.

Building on and complementing earlier work, this publication provides an interesting insight into the role that women play in Northern Ireland’s leading businesses, focusing attention on a sample of the Northern Ireland Top 100 companies.

The research focuses on the experience of women in these companies, highlighting the factors that facilitate and impede women’s ability to realise their potential.
