An MP's Guide to Responsible Business

This short briefing note and appended materials are designed to help MPs encourage greater corporate responsibility by offering practical support in the form of a checklist of how to recognise a responsible company and facts and statistics which can be used for briefings or speeches on the subject.  It also includes best practice case studies of companies whose programmes or approach could be easily replicated.

We would urge companies to use this with MPs to highlight how they work with their own employees; how they behave responsibly in the marketplace; how they can minimise their impact on the environment and what they do to support community and voluntary groups in the areas in which they operate.
