The annual Environment Index benchmarks companies against their peers, and against all companies that participate in the Index, on the basis of their environmental management and performance in key impact areas.
Full individual company bandings, sector comparisons and environmental trends for 2006 are all included in the Environment Index Report, making it essential reading for companies that have participated in the Index, or for companies that are interested in the performance of their sector. Information, presented by environmental issue and sector to allow comparison across the environmental agenda, helps companies identify emerging environmental issues and ways of reducing risk, while providing independent and comparable information to stakeholders.
The Report is included in the publication ‘Business leadership towards a low carbon economy’ which uses 6 years of climate change data from the Environment Index and case studies from ten leading companies to demonstrate the business benefits of taking action on climate change.
